Metallurgical Industry Museum

The Information Center "Museum of Metallurgical Industry" is the first Russian complex where unique exhibits on metallurgical subjects are exposed.

The exposition of the museum, designed with the use of modern technologies, tells the story of the metallurgy development. Thematic halls are equipped with interactive screens, electronic stands and audiovisual installations, with lots of unique photo and video archives, documents and artifacts.

On the first floor, opened for visitors in July 2015, you can learn about the history of metallurgy as an integral part of civilization development, as well as open the historical pages of the Cherepovets Metallurgical Combine and Severstal. Expositions of the second floor are devoted to the work of the modern enterprise: state-of-art technologies in metallurgical production and environmental protection, as well as social policy and vocational guidance work of Severstal.

The museum has welcomed hundreds of excursions within a year, almost 10 thousand visitors from different Russian cities and more than 30 world countries visited this museum that has become one of the symbols of Cherepovets.
